awesome rod
I love the action on this rod, you can feel everything that happens on your line, however the reel needs a lot of work. I just put on one of my spare Quantum reels, and now have the best Trout set ever.

I agree with John... the rod has a sensitive tip and is quite nice but the reel leaves alot to be desired. I bought the combo for 22 dollars at a local store so Im gonna just have to say "you get what you pay for".

This combo comes with a pretty neat rod. The reel is the worst that I have seen in a long time.
