 Not the Cheapest, but High Quality
First off, I'll say that I've learned over my years that a good fly fishing reel and rod are worth their weight in gold. And so I'm willing to spend a few extra dollars to get higher quality and durability. And this here reel delivers. This is a great reel with easy release and ultra-smooth bearings.  Great Construct & performance
I have 2 TICA Veteran G Large Arbor Fly Fishing Reels (TICG209) which I primarily use when I'm on my annual trips to Western Montana. For the price they offer superior quality with sturdy construction. The performance is always dependable no matter what the weather or enviromental conditions throw at it. I have been using the TICA TICG209 Veteran G Large Arbor Fly Fishing Reels with an 8'5" Eagle Claw Granger and 9" Rivendale. These combos make great combinations for small river and creek fishing.2501
