 Great rod.
Owned a cheap rod prior... it broke. After some research, I decided the 'unbreakable' Ugly Stick was for me. The Lite version felt best in my hands (didn't purchase online), and you gotta love the warranty. Very sensitive, especially for being so durable. I'd recommend this to anyone who just wants a great rod and is not trying to impress everyone else on the lake.

very light but powerful. This is my first experience with Uglystick and now i understand why this rod has a ‘legendary’ status in US – high quality for such an inexpensive rod. I already posted a review for the other rod model (Okuma Guide Select) but would like to copy and paste the part dedicated to the great service provided by Troutlet (don’t worry i wasn’t ‘sponsored’ by Troutlet :) it’s just that i was REALLY impressed by the whole purchase process). --In total, I purchased 8 different rods from them recently and each and every rod was delivered in perfect condition and extremely fast - always within 5 working days to Melbourne, Australia! The service you get from Troutlet is truly unbelievable, they went “inside out” to assist me with my numerous enquires and provided a lots of advice in terms of available models etc. Not to mention they have the best prices you can find on the net (believe me on this one, i spent quite some time browsing the net looking for what’s available). i am extremely happy with the whole purchase, thanks Aaron! --
