Teton Trout Rod
I bought this in the 4'-6" version and put a Mitchell reel with it. A very uncostly combination, but it works great in the river. I like the short handle for river fishing. I have caught rainbows up to 22" in length, and this rod could handle them fine. Rod has enough backbone to handle the larger trout, but it is sensitive enough to feel those very light strikes. Using 1/16 oz Panther Martins and Rapala lures, F5 size. I have rods that cost a whole lot more, but this rod is very good also. And the price is right.

Quantum Teton Rod
We purchased a Quantum Teton light rod for trout fishing a couple of years ago and it was a decent rod but the tip broke after a couple of fishing trips. We ordered 2 more recently, the handle has been shortened (way too much). The tip broke on one of the new rods on the first fishing trip. Good feel but the new models are very cheaply designed. I won't be ordering another Quantum rod.

Quantum Teton Trout rod review
I bought my first one locally and managed to break it on a fishing trip after using it extensively for months. I borrowed some other rods and only then did I really appreciate the responsiveness, balance, and lightness of the Teton Trout rod ... so I tracked it down on the internet (finally found it here on Troutlet, and for less even after shipping) and promptly ordered another one. I don't know if the first rod's break (cracked off right above the ferrule) was a fluke, long-term stress that it just can't handle (primarily fighting fiesty smallmouth bass and rainbows), or something else ... but for the price (and because it fishes soooo well), I was willing to pay for another and find out! So far I'm fishing it happily ...

Quantum Teton rod
I have bought my first Quantum Teton rod and I am very impressed with it. I have a Quantum Xtralite 5 1/2 foot rod which is very good but the Teton is better. My Teton 5 1/2 foot rod is extremely lite and very sensitive. It is strong enough for the smallmouth bass I fish for which I have taken up to 5 lbs. in the Columbia river system. I have a Quantum Plazma 20 reel on the rod which is a very good match. I will stay with my set up for most of my fishing and the cost is much less than the big name brands.

Quantum Teton Trout rod
I purchased a 7' lite action rod! And I must say that I am impressed! It is very sensitive and it works great with 6 # test line and I have a Mitchel 308 pro reel on it! I fish for trout using mostly Panther Martin lures, and the Teton work absolutely fabulas. Where I'm from we don't get monsters, but I have had 20' brookies on the rob and it worked beautifly. The price was great also. Great product, I recommend it! Mike M
