Its ok
I bought the rod mainly for short time use. The sensitivity is out standing but the is way to short for fighting anything over 5 pounds(trout). When I used it at a local lake I caught 15 smallmouths, but I had easily a couple of 3+ pounders and they came off due to the fact that it is way to flimmsy. All in all I wouldn't uses it for trout over the 5 pound range. So if your looking for a alround fishing rod this is not it, but it is great for fish in averag sized streams for descent trout.

I love these rods for panfish...
Best rod for panfish...period!! Good action.. just be careful with them... they are high modulus graphite.. Very Good Product.. packaged great from Troutlet!!! Ive ordered them before from different companies.. they would come damaged... but not this time!!!

Excellent Small Stream Rod
I just purchased my second 7' Teton rod. It is the perfect rod for my style of fishing. The length lets me do things a shorter rod can't and gives me more control over the lure and line. The Teton is very sensitive and quick. I use 2# and 4# test and the rod fishes both well. I own a half a dozen other lite and ul rods in the $40-$100 range and from 4'8" to 8'. This Teton out fishes them all for me. Thanks Troutlet for the prices and the small stream emphasis.

Teton Trout Rod
I bought this in the 4'-6" version and put a Mitchell reel with it. A very uncostly combination, but it works great in the river. I like the short handle for river fishing. I have caught rainbows up to 22" in length, and this rod could handle them fine. Rod has enough backbone to handle the larger trout, but it is sensitive enough to feel those very light strikes. Using 1/16 oz Panther Martins and Rapala lures, F5 size. I have rods that cost a whole lot more, but this rod is very good also. And the price is right.

Quantum Teton Rod
We purchased a Quantum Teton light rod for trout fishing a couple of years ago and it was a decent rod but the tip broke after a couple of fishing trips. We ordered 2 more recently, the handle has been shortened (way too much). The tip broke on one of the new rods on the first fishing trip. Good feel but the new models are very cheaply designed. I won't be ordering another Quantum rod.
