Quantum Teton Rods
These rods have the perfect action for Trout fishing with spinners in local lakes for Rainbows. Lightweight and packable. I have purchased 3 of these rods (2-6',1-6'6') and everyone of them have broken between the rod tip and first guide. I am not hard on equipment so I am leary to purchase another no matter how much I like the rod. Quantum Customer Service has agreed to replace the rods at no charge.

Quantum Teton Trout rod
I got this rod 2 weeks ago, and I've been on three trips with it. I use the Quantum Teton combined with a Dam Quick Finessa 720 reel and Berkley Fireline 0.12mm, and it seems to be a well balanced combo. The biggest trout so far is a .5 kg trout. Hopefully I will catch bigger trouts later on this summer. Great rod!

Quantum Teton
Just received a Teton six foot six. Although I am no fan of Quantum products and had doubts about the quality of a rod that cost so little,I decided to purchase one based on the reviews. I am glad I did. Although I can't say how it will hold up over the long haul, the rod seems to be well made, and it casts light lures very well. I therefore give a thumbs up to the rod.

review for quantum teton spinning rod
As I am fast becoming a fan of both quantum products AND ultralight fishing in general, i couldn't resist purchasing a Teton trout rod. Let me say that when they say ultralight, they really mean it. The butt diameter of the 6' rod is smaller than a #2 pencil, significantly more slender than even Quantum's other ultralight line of rods: the 'xtralight' series. As a result, the rod has a more parabolic action (read: 'wimpy') Don't get me wrong- if you can find a light enough reel to balance this featherweight noodle, it is a lot of fun for bluegills and will easily throw a 1/16 ounce lure. Beautiful and unique finish, unbeatable price to satisfy that ultralight niche in your rod collection.
