bail wire problems
reel functions great except that the bail wire keeps coming loose.

Review
To start off it is not just a very nice looking reel, it is a work horse. The reel I purchased was the 40 model,it is very smooth, and it casts wonderful. I first thought it would be a little small but it has worked out fine. The drag system has been put to the test. I have caught several large fish, up to 40lb's on 10lb test and have yet to have a line break. The drag did not overheat on several really long runs. There are a few 'needs improvements' no extra spool, and the handle does not collapse. But as for the actual working of the reel, it is exceptional, well worth the money. Quantum PTI-a spinning reel
Superb. I have the 10, 20, and 30 models. My favorite is the 10, mounted on a 6' light Fenwick. Effortless casting, silky smooth.

I have the pti-10 model on a 6'6' g-loomis imx fast action rod and it is by far the best rig for this type of fishing I own. all the fancy stuff they advertise with this reel,really does serve its purpose,its ultra smooth,super tough, and a true fish fighting machine...sweet looking as well. worth every penny.
