What can i say about this reel that hasn't already been said? I have this gem matched with a G Loomis GL2. I almost feel sorry for the fish. A flick of the wrist can send a 1/4 oz spinner 100 feet. The line peels off nicely and talk about a smooth retrieve! I caught a 15 pound catfish on four pound test, a testament to the reels ultra-smooth drag system. I will say, it's heavier than some other reels in the '20' class despite the thin frame. If you have a medium or lighter graphite 6 1/2 ft or less, go for the size ten for balance.

I can't say enough about this reel: top-of-the-line performance and killer looks too! I'm combining it with my 5'6' St Croix Avid Series ultralight spinning rod to handle all my stream/river trout needs. It's the sweetest combo I've ever owned! VERY glad I spent a few bucks extra to pick up this reel. And speaking of $$, there is NO WAY that anyone else can even touch Troutlet's price on this reel. Trust me, I looked. Can't be done! Match that with Troutlet's incredible customer service and you have yourself a tremendous an awesome deal.

I love the Quantum PTi. Very good product for this price! Well....i have some better reels! But a shimano stella costs 4 times more. The only reel, which is as good for nearly same price is the Tica Taurus TP.
