	by stephen c	solid very solid rod for the money. i use it as a back-up rod now, but I did catch my first (fly caught) trout on it. I definately have confidence in it's casting and landing abilities to keep in in my truck just in case my primary rod gets broke.

	by Brian Colvin	Rod Review This rod is unbeatable value for money. It casts well and has a good, medium action, neither too springy or too stiff. The build quality was better than I expected, the two sections fitted tightly together without rattling and the cork handle provided good grip as well as giving the rod a higher quailty look. The overall look, feel and finsh of the rod is obviously not as good as one made by a big name brand but I don't expect that from a rod in this price range. This is an excellent rod that is likely to suit either someone wanting a cheap introduction to fly fishing or a more experienced fly angler who, like me, is not prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on a rod and then worry about it getting damaged.
