This is the smoothest reel I have ever used. Well worth the money.

Best bang for the buck - I have had this reel a year matched w/ a St Croix tidemaster 7' and put 100's of Stripers in the boat , on shore and from a Kayk - only had 1 problem a screw in the handle fell out - rendering the reel useless for the day - but when I contacted Okuma - the sent me a whole new handle and a nice Vs hat to boot. in 2 days. great customer service- this reel is smooth. nice handle / grip- nice fold away feature built into the design.
