 gread rod + great service
Great rod - very light and sensitive, at the same time having a real ‘feel ‘ to it. this model was voted the best ‘value-for-money’ fishing rod in 2006 (found some info on the net) and it’s very easy to see why, as soon as you start fishing with it. I used my (6’6’’ med) rod extensively in both fresh water and light saltwater (lure and live bait) fishing with great success. I also want to highlight the great service you receive from Troutlet. In total, I purchased many different rods from them recently and each and every rod was delivered in perfect condition and extremely fast - always within 5 working days to Melbourne, Australia! The service you get from Troutlet is truly unbelievable, they went “inside out” to assist me with my numerous enquires and provided a lots of advice in terms of available models etc. Not to mention they have the best prices you can find on the net (believe me on this one, i spent quite some time browsing the net looking for what’s available). i am extremely happy with the whole purchase, thanks Aaron!

 Go Okuma!!
This is the second rod I have bought by Okuma. I have it paired with an Okuma Metaloid. I have the 7ft, medium action. The first weekend I used it, I landed about 20 largemouth bass. The biggest was just over 6lbs. This rod was flawless. I did not miss a single fish.

 Okuma Guide Select Spinnir Rod
I was fishing the shield lakes in Northwest Ontario in may and caught my largest Northern Pike. It was 41' long, and weighed 22 pounds. The Guide select rod and the Okuma Insira 30 reel with 12# test handled the fish like it was much smaller. I have never fished with a better combination in my life, and I am 65.
