 Crisium - great med-fast action rod
I was looking for an inexpensive lighter rod for my local bays, surf and occasional trout fishing. I described the characteristics I wanted and Aaron recommended this rod to me, promising I would like it... boy he was right... Got the 5/6 - It's got backbone with nice mid-tip flex, and very sensitive to boot. The previous reviewer said it was too stiff. Not sure what weight he got but I completely disagree...it's faster than other rods in this price range and could definitely be sold at a higher price. It feels like my St Croix Imperial, a $180 rod. The nice wooden (rosewood?) reel seat, titanium guides and cork handle all feel of a very high quality. Get it, you will love it and want to buy different weights as your primary or backups.

 Stiff
This is a well built rod but is it very stiff, it is like casting with a 2x4 it is very stiff and difficult to use because of the stiffness it takes the fun out of fly fishing with this rod. Other than that it is wonderful.
