Okuma Cascade Large Arbor Fly Fishing Reels

Description

Okuma's new large arbor design gives faster line retrieval for a single action reel. The Cascade graphite large arbor reels offer incredible value in the traditionally exclusive world of large arbor reels. The Cascade uses the same one-way roller bearing technology found on the higher-end reels allowing for drag free retrievals. Costing no more than a few wooly buggers the Cascade is a great starter reel for a first foray into large arbor fishing or an extra all-arounder.

Great Reel
Yes it is a bit bulky, but super light and very nice smooth drag. What an upgrade from an old standard arbor reel. At the price it is unbeatable.

Okuma Cascade CS 4/6
I bought this reel in a combo with the matching Okuma CS-903-5. I'm brand new to the hobby and this was my first set up. Been practicing in my back yard for a week now and have had no problems! I was leary buying a 'cheaper' combo, but have been very happy so far!

Okuma Airframe Reel
This Reel is an incredible value for the price. You get a center star drag reel with Large arbor for not a lot of money. It is rugged and being plastic you can drop it on a rock and not have to take it to a reel repair shop. It also doesn't lose its finish, the plastic is black all the way through. The drag is very good but the pressure is applied very quickly when turning the star. You have to be careful to set your drag the way you want it beforehand, if you decide after you hook up that it is a little loose be careful when adding drag. The weight is excellent, so light it has no effect on your ability to work the rod for long periods of time. I am not fond of heavy fly reels.

Okuma Airframe
I bought this flyreel last season and used it more than my Orvis battenkill! I just LOVE that star drag and how easy it is! It's very light so I can throw my rig around all day without tiring as fast. I paired it up with my St.Croix Avid series rod for those HUGE Brownies up here and the tail dancin' Suskie-Smallies at the mouth! I know you'll love this reel. I'm rough on my equipment and the Airframe is VERY DURABLE indeed! Buy it you'll love it for sure!

Airframe reel 6-7
The reel works fine, but it's a lot bulkier than most. It's light but feels bigger than it really is.
