This is a very nice reel for the money. Have had no problems whatsoever with this okuma. 7 Bearings is a plus, but wish it was a little smoother. Other than that, great reel.

Lost it's store-new smoothness very quickly and sheared tiny square dogs at crank handle/pinion junction (may have been my fault using the crank not firmly tightened). However the reel works exremely well, with a smooth drag and excellent lock up from the anti-reverse for strong striking at the fish.

This is the best ultra-light reel I have ever had. It is flawless in operation. For the money I don't think there is a better product on the market.

I think this reel is the best spinning reel you can get for stream trout fishing.It is smooth and casts great.

I love my new Av 30s. But the AV 30s I received are not the same as the 'previous' model shown on the Troutlet.com web page . . . therefore, it does not match my other AV 30.
