Description

The Mepps Black Fury Trout Pocket Pac helps take the guesswork out of selecting the right lure for trout. The dots on the blades of the Black Fury provide contrast under a wide variety of fishing conditions. A bright lathe-turned bead and gold plated treble hook add to this contrast making the Black Fury extremely effective under almost all water and weather conditions. Black Furies can be fished just as effectively day or night. A slightly elongated blade means the Black Fury runs just a little deeper than the classic Mepps Aglia. Like the Aglia, you can control the depth during the retrieve simple by raising or lowering your rod-tip. Perfect for stream or lake.

All Mepps Black Furies feature solid brass bodies and blades. The black finish on each Blade is permanently etched. Solid vinyl decals printed with UV inks resist fading.

Mepps Black Fury Trout Pocket Pac - gold plated treble hooks...

  • 1 ea. Mepps #1 Black Fury - yellow dot
  • 1 ea. Mepps #1 Black Fury - fluorescent red dot
  • 1 ea. Mepps #1 silver Aglia - chartreuse dot

Black Fury = Caught Fish
I fish our 10 acre neighborhood North Georgia lake and call the Black Fury # 1 with fluorescent red my "Secret Weapon". I catch 'em with this lure and my buddies can't believe it. I have tried the other colors but the red seems to work best for me. My original is undressed and is really showing its age after 9 years. I regularly catch large mouth bass, bream, and occasionally blue cats - What a rush! I always look at Wal-Mart and other stores for them, but the only store to usually have them is Bass Pro. I highly recommend these!

Pull them out of the shallows!
My little brother is a huge fan of the black fury, he lives for this lure, and i as well. In the sunshine coast we do a lot of shore casting to draw those shallow fish out. The black fury is perfect for shallow water because even when your reeling it in slow in the shallows it generally doesn't get tangled or caught on the bottom because of it's light weight. I would definately recomend it for anyones tackle box if your tackling cuthroats and raibows.
