I purchased this rod (from Dick's Sporting Goods) for my husband for his birthday and he loved it. Used it twice and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread ~~ however, that last cast broke off the tip of the rod. One of the reasons for the purchase was the replacement guarantee ~~ which the store (Dick's Sporting Goods) won't honor unless they have one exactly like it ~~ which they don't. If only I could get the replacement, we would rate it a 5!!

got this fly rod at dick's sporting goods this past fall and love using it in small streams. i got the 5/6 which is good for tight streams where little overhead casting is done. it is great for roll casts and tumble casts, but since it is shorter than most it is hard to make longer casts when you do find open spaces.

i bought this fly rod after my first one broke and this fly rod has performed very well for me. it's great for smaller streams but also works well in bigger streams or rivers. it loads well and is a great rod.
