Can't beat the price.
I just received the 2010 version of the 6' 6" Featherlight. The action has been updated and it is a little faster than the previous model. This is a HUGE improvement. It casts great with a DT 5 weight. Much more line control than the older version. The reel seat has been updated to wood with metal hardware. The finish on the rod is a bit rough (the epoxy used on the butt cap went everywhere, etc) but for $22.00 you cannot beat it. You can't expect perfection for that price. A very functional rod that you won't mind banging up. Perfect for small streams. Very fast shipping from Troutlet.

Great Value
Bought the 6'6" rod to use in my kayak. Could not be more pleased. Paired it with a pflueger 1594 and an Orvis 5wt line. Does very well, even find myself using it from the bank instead of my longer rods at times. Would not hesitate to recommend the product or troutlet to anyone.

Good rod for the money
This is a good small stream rod that won't break the bank. If you are a graphite rod user this little fiberglass rod is much slower and softer. I would say it fishes more like a 3 weight than a 5 weight. I use it mostly on small brushy streams where it truly shines. It lacks the stiffness to punch out line on bigger water.

Good little rod
I bought my 7ft in Colorado over 20 years ago and I still find it fun to use. I have numerous more expensive rods but I still find myself using the little featherlite. I intend to buy the 6ft 6in rod for some very small creeks.

Great rod for a great price
Just purchased this rod at the end of last year. I love the fact that it is smaller then most fly rods. As I am not a very tall guy. I haven't had the time to use it yet as winters here in Michigan are very long! And this one seems to be longer then most this year! I just bought an Oakama real for it and will be buying the new line in a couple of days. just wanted to let you know that this seems to be a nice product. Well balanced. I can't wait to get out on the stream and use it! Thanks toutlet for helping me find good gear at reasonable prices. Considering I am a father of 4 who can't afford too much on fishing supplies. Thanks and will let you know how everything worked out.
