 The first thing that happened was I broke it.
Now, I realize it's a cheap pole and an extremely lightweight one at that, but I've known twigs that were stronger than the pole on this thing. The design is great, very light and compact and durable case, but even for goofing around I'd have a hard time recommending this product. If they put a real pole in this kit, it would be worth $100. However, you get what you pay for.
