 Daiwa Certate
This is the smoothest reel I have ever owned. For comparison purposes, I currently have 2 Daiwa Caldia's 2000 and 3000, 1 Shimano Calcutta 2000 GTE, and 1 Shimano Curado 200 e7. It obviously has lots of technology built into it. From the Reel Four Concept to all metal/aluminum/titanium build. It will be my most used reel for both freshwater and saltwater applications.

I can't beieve the other review on this reel. The guy was an idiot and probably was talking about one of the $15.00 reels that represents his whole tackle selection! Anyway, this is the smoothest reel you will own! Everything fuctions as advertised. Just read the reviews. The Stella is nice, but not superior. I checked them both out and was not on a budget, just wanted the best. I got that with the Certate 2500

this reel is worse than the shimano ix that my friend has. its trash, if i could give it no stars i would.it reels terrible. first slow then fast then normal, but when its normal its easy then hard to reel and the bail wont stay up or down. when its up it cliks down instantly and i have to hold it down or it pops up. then the handle bends like crazy because of the joints. The drag system does nothing I was jigging and it twirled without me doing anything. This is just a plain old terrible reel. Im buying the shakespeare tempest that got a good review.
