 Solid pack rod
A solidly built travel rod. Nicely finished, well-balanced and casts well. Performs as expected for a budget rod; seems a little light for a 6/7-wt, though. It works well with a 5-wt line, casting easily. Assembly is a little awkward; it would help if, during manufacture, they could print the section number and some alignment dots on the blank. That, however, is easily rectified with a little enamel paint and a small brush! One other concern is that the top of the cork grip started to crumble when I removed the plastic wrapping, but that was easily repaired. A good rod, and a steal for the price. Shipping to the Netherlands was prompt, and the rod was well packed.
